Have you ever just sat back and watched? Looked at your surroundings and letting the unthinkable or unnoticeable consume you? In life, there are many aspects people neglect. The peacefulness of a bird’s song. Maybe even the smell of a morning’s dew. Appreciating what you have is hard to do when all you think about is what you don’t. I never understood followers. People who never take initiative to excel in their quest to become who they are. These people, compare and contrast their inner being to how they think others want them to be. Unfortunately, you’ll never learn to know your own heart. Understanding what moves you, will allow you to become free-spirited. The next time you look into the mirror, introduce yourself. It may sound absurd, but try it. The person looking back at you is who you are. Ask yourself, “Do I know you?” You will be your own best friend for eternity. Im not saying to go out and be perfect. Regardless what society has said, there isn’t such a thing as “perfect”. There is only you. If you master your soul, that in its own right is perfection. Take these words anyway you decide. After all, what you perceive is your reality. Once you’re fluent in perfection (being you), share that gift with someone. Don’t lead nor follow, share. Walk beside them, not in front of or behind, together. You’ll have a different perspective and see the little things that you once missed. Go out and listen to that bird you once never heard. It may have been trying to tell you something all this time.
Cheers.
